The South Lake Shasta Fire Council includes the communities of Shasta Lake, Mountain Gate and Jones Valley.

The Mission of the South Lake Shasta Fire Safe Council is to preserve area residencies and resources from wild fire through education and by encouraging all residents to make their home, neighborhood and community safe.
