The Shasta Lake Fire Protection District requires a burn permit for all open burning within the city limits. You must call the burn info # (530) 224-8777 everyday before burning and be in posession of permit while burning. Burn piles should be no bigger than 4'x4' and you must remain in attendance at all times. Further rules and guidelines are located on burn permit. Permits can be obtained 7 days a week from 8-5pm at our main station 4126 Ashby Ct.
